Remya Roshni is a Post graduate in Sociology. In 2006, she cleared the UPSC civil service examination with an all-India Rank 72 and got allotted to the Indian Police Service (Manipur Cadre).

She resigned from service after a year and started coaching people for Civil Service Examination. Around 250 students have emerged successful with her guidance in various stages of the examination till date.

She has three published books on Civil Service examination to her credit and is part of the Kerala quiz Forum, a one of its kind foundation programme for school students. As a keen quizzer, she is an active presence in the Kerala quizzing circles both as a quizzer and quizmaster.
